1963 Corvette image

  1. The first Corvette to be designated as a "Stingray" was built in 1963. The exterior had dramatic changes from the C1 models including a split rear window on the Coupes. Of the 21,513 that were produced, slightly more than half were convertibles and the rest were hardtop Coupes. Up until this point, all Corvettes were convertibles.
